ARKHAM CITY: GRAYSON'S, BLACK MASK, RIDDLER!?

Batman Arkham City is shaping up to be an impressive follow up from the already epic original. The open world capabilities have reached a whole new level of “Batman World” immersion. The latest trailer shows the sick and improved game play, (we’re talking multiple person take downs and full environment integration) but also touches on just how detailed the open world/city, really is.

Arkham, in the comics is essentially based on gang divisions and historical places that reflect ‘Bruce Wayne’s’ life and the creation of batman. For example, in this game you can see that Wayne enterprises is in the background, as well as the monarch theatre (where Bruce Wayne’s parents were killed) and Sionis Industries, which is of course run by the black mask (Roman Sionis).

The key Characters are two face, Hugo Strange, Cat woman, the Joker, Harley Quinn, etc. However the Riddler has a stronger presence (maybe we’ll get to see him) and the black mask may make an appearance. There is also a sign indicating that there would be some sort of introduction towards the “Grayson” family, who is performing at the Monarch theatre, perhaps we’ll see a little robin development?

Arkham City is to be released on 10/18/2011, you can pre-order now at GameStop or amazon.com
