IS BRADLEY COOPER TO DOUCHE BAGGY FOR THE CROW??

There are definitely big shoes to fill when it comes to role of ‘Eric Draven,’ particularly since it’s such a first-rate franchise whose 1994 release emulated the source material so effectively. Bradley Cooper (Hangover, A-team) was recently announced to take a stab as the rock musician, who is revived from the dead to avenge his and his fiancées murder. With ‘The Crow’ having such a gothic, teen-angst and ‘beautifully morbid’ feel to it, is Bradley Cooper really fit for the job?

It should be interesting to see Cooper try to fill in the shoes of the late Brandon Lee, who owned the role and made one and all believe deeply for Eric Draven’s character. Its hard to shake Coopers smile and cockiness from the A-Team, Hangover, and pretty much everything that he’s been in, but lets hope this gives him the chance to break away from being typecast.

As of right now The Crow remake is a “priority production” for Relativity Media, especially since they just locked in Director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 weeks later, Inacto, and the feature Bioshock).
